Schools/districts who will be at the Great Arizona Teach-In
Why
drive all over the state to interview with
schools, when you can come to one event and meet
and interview with as many outstanding schools as
you like?
This
is a FREE
event for current and future education
professionals.
No
matter where you are at in the process of becoming
an Arizona education professional, the Teach-In
will have something for you!
This
event provides "One-stop" services offering
resources to become an Arizona education
professional.
Schools from around the state will be at
the Great Arizona Teach-In, looking for quality
personnel to serve Arizona students.

General
Information
Parking
There are
several different options for parking at the
Great Arizona Teach-In. Parking lots in
the area range in price from $6-$10 depending on
the lot and location. Attached, please
find an event map which details the event
location, and will give you an idea of parking
options. In addition, there are parking
meters surrounding the event, and remember that
the meters are free after 5:00 p.m. You
may consider car-pooling, which will allow you
in the HOV lanes on the freeways, along with
sharing the parking fees. Additionally,
you will want to save your parking receipt,
as this is a career-related expense, and in
general can be written off on your taxes.
What
should I bring?
We
have gotten numerous questions asking what items
should be brought to the Great Arizona Teach-In.
Here are some recommended items (please keep in
mind these are recommendations only, they are
NOT required to attend or interview)
If
possible, you should also bring:

Light
Rail construction is taking place on the streets
surrounding the venue, at this time there are no
closures, but please plan on a few extra minutes
of traffic.
Fingerprinting service is $10.00 which can be paid in cash or a personal check made payable to the Fingerprint Technician.
A Driver's License, MVD issued ID, or Passport must be provided at the time of fingerprinting.
Fingerprints will be taken in the
resource room, near the main lobby.
The application fee for a Fingerprint Clearance Card is $47.00 which must be paid in the form of a money order, cashier's check or a school's business check made payable to "DPS" or the Department of Public Safety.
You
will receive an event evaluation in your
packet, please help us make this event better by
sharing your thoughts, and turning in the form at
the end of the event

If
you need assistance locating the event,
please look for a Downtown Ambassador.
They can provide assistance in many areas, and
they are a great resource.
